WITHIN TEMPTATION Announces European Headlining Tour

July 26, 2010

Dutch female-fronted symphonic metallers WITHIN TEMPTATION have issued the following update:

"We are very excited to make this announcement.

"As you know, we have been very busy working on our new album in the past year. It isn't finished yet, but we're getting there!

"We currently have the album scheduled for the beginning of 2011 and, of course, we will be touring soon after the album release!

"We're returning to the European stages in February and March for the first part of the tour and head straight into the festival season after that.

"We will be sending special links out to our fan club members starting Wednesday, July 28, so they will be able to take part in an exclusive pre-sale for fan club members only. Check TheSilentForce.com to see the details on Wednesday. General pre-sale will start on Friday, July 30 unless otherwise mentioned on our tour page. Check back for all the exact pre-sale links. There will be Twitter tags for all the shows. If you mention them in your Twitter messages, you will be able to see who else is going to the same show as you and communicate with them!"

"An Acoustic Night At The Theatre", the latest live album from WITHIN TEMPTATION, was released in North America on December 15, 2009 via Roadrunner Records. The release was made available via all digital music providers, while physical copies were made available exclusively at the newly launched Roadrunner Recordsweb store.

"An Acoustic Night At The Theatre" contained the brand new song "Utopia", written during the rehearsals for the theatre tour. A duet with U.K. singer-songwriter Chris Jones (whom Sharon met while working with world-famous DJ Armin van Buuren on his track "In And Out Of Love"),"Utopia" is about two lovers who can't be together because they are separated by their contrasting dreams of the ideal life.

Sharon den Adel and WITHIN TEMPTATION guitarist Robert Westerholt welcomed their second child, Robin Aiden Westerholt, on June 1, 2009. The couple also has a four-year old daughter named Eva Luna den Adel.

WITHIN TEMPTATION released a double-DVD, titled "Black Symphony", on September 22, 2008. It is also available as a double-CD.
